B. Burt Rahavi, M.D., F.A.C.R., is an internist and Board Certified Rheumatologist, who completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. He then completed a Rheumatology fellowship at the University of Louisville in Kentucky.


Dr. Rahavi has been a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology since 1982.  He has held teaching appointments at Wright State University and University of California at Irvine School of Medicine in the past. 

He has over 30 years of clinical experience in diagnosing and treating arthritis and related disorders of the joints, muscles and bones. He has special clinical interest in the evaluation and treatment of patients with arthritis, osteoporosis and gout. Dr. Rahavi is currently on staff at Hoag Memorial Hospital in Newport Beach

and Irvine.


Dr. Rahavi keeps current with latest development in his field. In December 2014, Dr. Rahavi completed all requirements for rheumatology recertification with the American Board of Internal Medicine in the subspecialty field of Rheumatology.
